Anna Weylandt is a Capetonian creative.  Born in Windhoek, Namibia, she relocated to the mother city during childhood where she studied, developed her career and is now firmly rooted with her two pugs.

 

With over a decade of experience in the interior design and furniture retail industry, Anna furthers strengthens her creative muscles by being a serial-maker. Her means of expression include floral arranging, ceramics, photography and writing.

 

Buying, designing and developing furniture for the Weylandts brand for over 8 years, has meant spending a considerable amount in the East. Her connection and fascination with Asia runs deep and is her main source of inspiration.

 

Her guiding principles of creation; expression, freedom and connection, govern her decision making. By default these have laid a conduit for storytelling.
